WHAT OUR CLIENT SAYS
Does the best job hands down. I never had a pool person so dedicated to his job. He honestly takes pride in his work.
Techs are knowledgeable.
Thanks Kyzer
I can't say enough good things about Gabe the owner. After speaking with him about the start up (chemical/balancing) of the pool after the re-plastering, Gabe put our minds at ease. He was professional, honest, and matter of fact, which are all the qualities that i respect. He made a commitment, no deposit, just a handshake. Amazing. After the plastering timeframe was pushed, he had no issues communicating with us and stying in the loop.
Ricardo, who we are currently working with, is outstanding as well. When our pool was finally filled, I reached out to Ricardo to inform him that we were ready for him to come out and begin the start up process (it was 7pm). I was pleasantly surprised after leaving him a voice message, that he immediately returned my call and even apologized for not picking up. Who does that in todays world!
I would recommend Kyzer Pools to anyone, Gabe is awesome!!
The company is good. Reliable and here on set date.
Gabe and his team have been very flexible in working with me on schedules and specific areas that tend to require special attention.
Early in the year, he and his team also conducted a total overhaul on the surfaces of my pool and spa; including emptying them, having certain areas 'glass-bead' blasted clean (because of salt buildup in my salt-based pool and spa), as well as carefully hand-filling in some cracks and chipped areas and then completing the renewal with a full bleaching of the surfaces - bringing it back to an almost new condition! They also took great care to thoroughly clean and appropriately dispose of the byproducts of the various processes.
I confidently refer Gabe and Kyzer Pool and Spa to my neighbours and friends here in Las Vegas - I only hope Kyzer Pool and Spa don't become too busy and lose their rare breed of customer care and service excellence (...like what happened to me with a prior pool contractor)!!
This company responds quickly and thoroughly to all inquiries. Great communication.
They kept the appointment, showed up on time, and texted when they were on the way. They spent plenty of time thoroughly cleaning everything. We received an email after the work was done documenting the pool chemical content, along with photos of the work done. It's like pool care for the 21st century!
The price for monthly service on our oversized pool is very fair and reasonable.
Look no further for a professional pool cleaner in Las Vegas. We have been clients for nearly a year and we are extremely happy.
Update 2024: We are still happily working with Kyzer and we have had multiple repair jobs on this old pool. Kyzer is more than fair with pricing, and they are responsive and fix it right the first time! I wish they did everything else a house needs: Plumbing, HVAC etc.
I have had bad experiences with a few pool cleaning providers before, where people would show up outside of their scheduled times, not show up at all with no notice (or a lame excuse), or there would be obvious cleaning areas that weren't done (like you didn't see the pool's main drain was full?!). I have also had pool people try to nickel and dime me. I don't have any of these issues with Kyzer which is to my relief. Kyzer has a set it and forget it system that I really appreciate as a remote home owner. I pay, they let me know when they are on the way, they come, do a tremendous job, always sends me after pictures with chemical balance information and then they are gone.
I love not having to worry about my pool. I really love that when I have needed emergency draining Kyzer's company has made themselves available. I also think it's super neat that they offer pool plastering services as well that I look forward to using later this year. I hope to continue to receive these great services from Kyzer's company.

Why Your Pool Filter Matters More in Las Vegas, NV
Las Vegas’s warm climate, heavy pollen seasons, coastal winds, and high humidity create unique challenges for pool filtration systems. From thick spring pollen released by live oaks and pines to salt-influenced air and wind-blown debris, maintaining crystal-clear water in the Lowcountry requires a filter that can handle far more than the basics.
Your filter must work harder to remove:
Pollen, sand, and fine debris carried by coastal winds
Organic material from surrounding trees, landscaping, and year-round vegetation
Sunscreen, lotions, and body oils from frequent warm-weather swimming
Mineral buildup that accumulates on cartridges, DE grids, and plumbing over time
Algae spores, which thrive in Las Vegas’s long, hot, sunny months
That’s why choosing the right filter and ensuring it’s properly sized for your pool’s volume, pump capacity, plumbing design, and usage patterns is so important. At Blue Reflection Pools, we evaluate all these factors during every installation to ensure your new filtration system performs efficiently, keeps your water clean, and stands up to the demands of Las Vegas’s coastal climate.
Types of Pool Filters We Install
There are three main types of pool filters commonly used in Las Vegas, NV, and each one offers distinct advantages depending on your pool’s environment, debris levels, water chemistry, and overall usage. Blue Reflection Pools installs all major filter types and will guide you toward the best choice for your pool size, landscaping, circulation system, and maintenance preferences.
1. Cartridge Filters
Easy to maintain
No backwashing required
Captures fine particles
Ideal for residential pools with low to moderate debris
Typically cleaned 3–4 times per year
Why it’s a good fit for Las Vegas:
Cartridge filters are extremely popular in communities such as Mount Pleasant, Las Vegas, and James Island, where landscaping is well-managed and debris levels are moderate. They handle Las Vegas’s heavy swimmer use and perform well in environments with fluctuating water chemistry and coastal pollen.
2. D.E. (Diatomaceous Earth) Filters
Highest filtration clarity (captures particles as small as 2–5 microns)
Requires backwashing and DE powder recharge
More maintenance than a cartridge system
Ideal for pools where crystal-clear water is a top priority
Why it’s a good fit for Las Vegas:
In areas like Johns Island, Summerville, and Goose Creek, where mature trees, heavy pollen, and year-round vegetation produce more debris, D.E. filters provide superior clarity. They excel in environments prone to organic material, fine dust, and the high pollen levels Las Vegas is known for.
3. Sand Filters
Lowest maintenance of all filter types
Simple, reliable operation
Captures larger particles (20–40 microns)
Requires backwashing and sand replacement every 3–5 years
Why it’s a good fit for Las Vegas:
Sand filters are a popular choice for homes in North Las Vegas, Hanahan, Ladson, and Isle of Palms, as well as rental properties and vacation homes throughout the coastal area. They’re durable, low-maintenance, and dependable ideal for homeowners who want straightforward operation with minimal upkeep.
Choosing the Right Size Filter
Many filter problems in Las Vegas-area pools can be traced back to improper sizing. A filter that’s too small will clog quickly, reduce circulation, and force your pump to work harder. A filter that’s too large may lead to inefficiencies, unnecessary energy use, and higher long-term costs. Proper sizing is essential for clear water, healthy circulation, and dependable system performance—especially in Las Vegas’s warm, pollen-heavy, coastal environment.
When selecting the right filter for your pool, Blue Reflection Pools takes all of the following into account:
Total pool volume (in gallons)
Pump horsepower and flow rate
Pipe diameter and overall system pressure
How often the pool is used—daily swimmers vs. occasional use
Nearby landscaping, pollen levels, sand, and overall debris load
Compatibility with heaters, salt systems, automation, lighting, and other equipment
We install filtration systems for every type of pool—from compact spas and modest backyard pools to large custom builds in communities like Mount Pleasant, Las Vegas, Summerville, Goose Creek, James Island, and Johns Island. No matter your pool’s size or complexity, we ensure your filter is correctly matched and professionally installed for long-term clarity, performance, and reliability.
Full-Service Filter Installation in Las Vegas, NV
Our installation process is thorough, clean, and built for long-term reliability. We don’t simply swap out your filter—we configure your entire system so it runs efficiently, stays easy to maintain, and performs at its best in the Las Vegas, NV climate.
Step 1: Consultation & Site Inspection
We begin by evaluating your equipment pad, existing plumbing layout, electrical connections, and overall circulation needs. This ensures your new filter integrates properly with your current setup and supports your pool’s size, flow rate, and usage patterns typical of Las Vegas-area homes.
Step 2: Filter Selection
Next, we walk you through the best filter options for your pool. We explain the pros and cons of each system, help you compare long-term maintenance needs, and recommend the right filter based on your goals, budget, water chemistry, landscaping, and the debris levels common throughout Las Vegas, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, Johns Island, and surrounding areas.
Step 3: Professional Installation
If you’re replacing an existing filter, we safely remove the old unit, update fittings and unions as needed, and install your new filter according to manufacturer specifications. Every connection is sealed, aligned, and pressure-tested for durability and performance.
Step 4: System Integration
Once installed, we ensure your entire system works together seamlessly. We check pump compatibility, verify heater and automation responsiveness, and confirm proper flow through salt systems, chlorinators, or any additional equipment on your pad.
Step 5: Startup & Training
We prime the filter, test water flow and pressure, and make sure the system performs exactly as it should. Finally, we walk you through cleaning intervals, maintenance tips, and what to expect from your new filter—so you can keep your water clear and your equipment protected year-round.

Common Reasons to Replace Your Filter
Many homeowners wait too long to replace failing filters, and it often ends up costing far more in chemicals, water, energy, and repair bills. When a filter can no longer keep up with the demands of a Las Vegas, NV pool, everything from water clarity to equipment health begins to suffer. Here are some of the most common signs that it’s time to install a new filter:
- A cracked, warped, or leaking tank that can no longer hold pressure
- Constant backwashing or frequent cleanings with little improvement
- High pressure that won’t drop even after a thorough cleaning
- Cloudy water, recurring algae blooms, or poor circulation
- Filters older than 7–10 years, especially in mineral-heavy regions like Las Vegas
- Failing internal components—cartridges, DE grids, or sand laterals—that are no longer repairable
- Upgraded equipment, such as a new variable-speed pump or automation system, that requires a more capable filter
If your current filter is outdated, damaged, or simply struggling to keep up with Las Vegas, NV water conditions, replacing it can pay for itself quickly. A properly sized, efficient filter leads to cleaner water, fewer chemical adjustments, smoother pump performance, and far less maintenance stress giving you a healthier, clearer pool with less effort.
